Espionage & Censorship Act 18 USC Sec. 795

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

This section of the Espionage & Censorship Act was created to protect military installations. The idea here is that if a foreign power, or anyone bent on attacking a military operation, was going to plan an assault, any reconnaissance–especially in the form of photography or even a drawing–would be helpful in that attack.

EG&G

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

EG&G (Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc.) is the leading provider of management and technical services to the U.S. government. They also own a security company called Wackenhut, who hires and manages the Area 51 border guards–commonly referred to as the Cammo Dudes.

EG&G also owns and operates a private air terminal at McCarren International Airport in Las Vegas, where as many as six Boeing 737s fly employees into Area 51 each day.

EG&G is not only the most favorite military contractor of the US government, but it is also the oldest–making them almost an arm of the US military; however, unlike a government organization, even a black projects organization, EG&G is a private company who doesn’t have to answer to silly organizations like Congress and oversight committees.

History
In 1931 MIT professor Harold Edgerton (a pioneer of high speed photography) partnered with his graduate student Kenneth Germeshausen as a small technical consulting firm. The two were joined by fellow MIT graduate student Herbert Grier in 1934. The group’s high-speed photography was used to image implosion tests during the Manhattan Project. The same skills in precisely timed high power pulses of electricity also formed a key enabling technology for nuclear weapon triggers. After the war the group continued their association with the burgeoning military nuclear effort, and formally incorporated Edgerton, Germeshausen, and Grier, Inc. in 1947.

Today
EG&G is a division of URS with a staff of more than 12,300 employees who provide program management, systems engineering and technical assistance, and operations and maintenance services to a variety of federal agencies, primarily the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.

They are organized around two principal groups: Aerospace Technical Services (ATS) and the Engineering and Technology Services (ETS), which are divided into six Strategic Business Units (SBUs) focused upon key federal market segments. The EG&G Division includes the operations of EG&G Technical Services, Inc.; EG&G Defense Materials Inc.; Lear Siegler Services, Inc.; and several joint ventures.

The EG&G Division has a broad portfolio of government Contract Vehicles, including General Services Administration (GSA) schedules, Department of Defense (DOD) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts, and other Government-Wide Contracts (GWACs), which enable us to respond quickly to our customer’s requirements.

Want to work for the EG&G Division? Want to become a Cammo Dude?
Like any big company, URS is always hiring. Click here to search for jobs with EG&G. Or, click here if you want to be a Cammo Dude (Wackenhut Security). Make sure you limit your search to Nevada if you’re serious about becoming Area 51 security. Believe it or not, they don’t list “Cammo Dude” as a position.

Top Secret Projects

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

From the very beginning, when the first-meager base was used to test top-secret spy planes, most of what Groom Lake produced was unknown at the time. To this day many people report strange lights, objects, and activities of unidentified aircraft over the skies of Area 51. It should be noted that while people mistakenly connect the definition of UFO’s with alien spacecraft, there is no hard evidence that the unidentified flying objects at Area 51 are actually alien in nature.
